Idea 1. We have a fellow in Wisconsin who sells advertising. HIS idea was to canvas the local in home health care companies in the area. By doing so he found 30 nurses willing to display our brackets. He not only needed 30 Hitchhiker Ad Displays, he also needed more than a few receiver hitches for the nurses that did not have any. He will also PAY them $50/month to keep them on their vehicles 24/7.

Then he sold the advertising space for $75/month per sign ($2.50/day/sign - which is LESS than a classified ad). Thats $150 per month per car or $4500.00 monthly. He pays them $1500 total per month and nets $3000.00 ($36,000 per year)! He tells me his main competition are the "box" trucks with advertising on the side. He said they run $900 for 3 - 8 hour days, plus the cost of the media (up to $1500!).

Idea 2. We are working with a fellow that plans on leasing brackets from us and then to a local Lions Club (or any other fund raising entity) at $1.00/day. The fellow that put this together gets .25 cents per day for each bracket, we keep .75. The Lions Club members are both the display carriers AND the salesmen. We do all the administrative invoicing, etc. They get from $3.00 per day per sign. They net $5.00 per day for every bracket they have! Now the fellow who started all of this is getting his .25 per bracket, EVERY DAY! He realizes that it won't take too many Lions Clubs or other fund raising clubs (even political ads) to get 4000 brackets out there (thats HIS goal). At .25 each every day he nets $1000 per day or $350,000.00 per year. Kind of like the Tooth Fairy........

Idea 3. Owner of a local multilevel marketing franchise knows that the only way he can sell his product is to promote it! He saw the great potential of Hitchhiker Ads displays and is now actively marketing them to the 3800 other affiliates in his business. We sell him the displays at $149 (he buys 10 at a time), he markets at our retail price of $224.95. He also receives $5.00 of every sign printed, after the first two, with each bracket (residual income).

Idea 4. TV Production company specializing in Real Estate shows, offers 5 of our brackets FREE with each production sold. Once seen in local markets, other Real Estate companies and agents are calling to keep up with their competition. We think the Real Estate market should work very well, with repeat needs for the signs of "Featured Listings". Check out Hitchhiker FM too - your personal FM transmitter!

Idea 5. Local Auto Sales company - they ask customers who have just purchased a vehicle (usually one that already has a hitch on it) to drive their new car/truck with a Hitchhiker Ads display that advertises the dealership on one display and their current Specials on the other display, until their first oil change. When they return to the dealership at that time, they get their Lube, oil change and filter FREE, without really having had to do anything. The dealership gets great free advertising AND they get the customer back in the Service Department - where they really want them!

Idea 6. Taxi cab companies can be shown how Hitchhiker Ads can really generate revenue - even if they are already advertising on their fleet. Our DUAL DISPLAYS offer them the opportunity to DOUBLE their income verses single displays and whats more our displays can be mounted in addition to any currently existing vehicle mounted ad display.

Don't forget this is an election year and this has got to be one of the GREAT ways to get a message out.

In each case Hitchhiker Ads prints and manufactures our own ready to install media for our clients/customers at just $25 each. They email .pdf or .eps (some simply tell us what to say) files to us and we take care of the rest. We want to retain the right to print all the media whenever we can, which is why there is a significant price reduction for orders with a media agreement. Our signs are custom made for our brackets using a special laminate made just for us. Our standard sign pricing includes minimal graphic design services so you could also make money by offering design of the displays for your customers. Design services can run as high as $50 to $60 per hour for their services. If you don't design, you might find someone that can and will for say $40/hr. (local graphic arts students from area colleges might do it very inexpensively, for example) and you can make $20/hr. or more for handling it. Our signs don't cost..... they SELL!

Anyway, I imagine there are as many ideas to make money with our brackets as there are people with business cards, which is what our brackets were originally designed to hold - and pretty much everyone I know has a business card!
